A beautiful guitar! I would really like to try one of those. Congrats and may you play it in good health.

The closest I've ever got to playing a 335 is an Epi Sheraton, which was lovely, incidentally. That Eastman looks great. I'm not sure what kind of price range we're talking here...I'll google them...

It looks gorgeous! I wish I had a 335 style guitar. I think my next guitar might have to be a (transplanted) Variax though…have you tried one of those?

I tried the first model and the second incarnation of the variax and though they felt okay and had a variety of sounds, I didn't really go away thinking wow. I would much rather have a Tele or a 335 style guitar.

I've tried them a few times...The sounds are convincing enough for me…those early variaxs were horrible guitars though. The new ones are MUCH nicer to play. They also have good analogue pickups in them. I reckon if I had one of those I'd not look back for a few years. When it comes to drooling over gear, I can become as much as a cork sniffer as anyone, but I know that when I'm writing and recording…I'll just grab whatever's close to hand and run it through cheap plugins!

Yea, find what works for you. My friend loves them and he is a killer shred style guitarist. They sound good when he plays them, I just couldn't bond with it.

Hmmm I just watched this video and think it sounds really fake...maybe I wasn't listening well enough when I tried one... www.youtube.com/watch?v=meqkcELwew0Yuck. I like the magnetic sound though!

Again, the concept is good, but they don't wow me.
